Summer 2015 Wedding Flower Trends

The English Garden – With the popularity of shows like Downtown Abbey and The Great Gatsby movie, vintage glamour is a hot trend this season! Colour palettes include blush cream, pink, light yellow, and pale blue. Use flowers like baby’s breath, garden roses, hydrangea and peonies.

Rustic Elegance – Adding rustiv pieces, such as burlap and lace to wedding bouquets and centrepieces has become chic. The colour palette will include lots of browns and greens. Use wildflowers, like black eyed susans, daisies, poppies, and hypericum berries for a rustic, country feel.

Textures – Textured bouquets are still quite popular. To get the look, add herbs succulents, feathers,  and other plant material to create a fun and unique look. Plants with interesting textures include billy balls, spider mums, protea and air plants.

Romantic – Romance never goes out of style. This timeless trend is all about soft and feminine colours. Pink, cream, lavender, peach, and other pastel colours are romantic and elegant. Use roses, calla lillies, lily of the valley, and ranunculi to achieve the look.

Rich Colours – 2015 is the year of glamour! Rich  purples, deep reds, golds, and other bold colours are very popular with brides!
